The Swedish safe-tech brand Twiceme® is today announcing a new partnership with the Norske Tindevegledere (NORTIND), a highly respected educational institution and world-renowned mountain guide organization.

The Norwegian mountain guide association, NORTIND, holds high esteem in the mountain guide community. The country is rough and difficult to handle, but it’s no match for the advanced mountain guides working in it. And it’s not only that Nortind is highly respected by guides, but the country as a whole. The organization has a reputation for maintaining high quality, which makes other guide teams look at what they do. In this sense, NORTIND is well positioned to play a key role in how the spread and use of Twiceme progresses, in Norway but also internationally within the guiding community. With its 100+ certified guides experts in demanding mountain activities such as climbing, glacier walking, mountain skiing, steep skiing and avalanche assessment, NORTIND makes a great addition to Twiceme's fast growing community of rescuers and mountain guides.

NORTIND qualifies mountain guides according to International Federation of Mountain Guides Association’s (IFMGA) international standard, and is responsible for the organization, further education and professional updating of Tindevegledere in Norway.

Twiceme is an integrated technology that allows users to store personal safety information in their equipment. Data such as allergies, previous injuries, emergency contacts and more can all be uploaded to the user’s profile via the Twiceme app. In a situation where the user is injured or unresponsive, the first person on the scene can access their profile by simply tapping the Twiceme symbol displayed on the equipment with a smartphone. Access to this safety information provides a clear, efficient way to make decisions in the case of an emergency where time is often most critical, but can also help ease more common situations such as a person with diabetes requiring medical assistance.

“Twiceme is creating a global standard for smart safety together with the world’s most well recognized brands, our community of users and importantly professionals that can help in case of emergency. As a highly respected organization with an extremely strong national reach, Nortind is the perfect partner to educate on technology that can help in case of emergency. This long term partnership is a way for us to signal our long term commitment to the mission.  ” says Christian Connolly, CEO of Twiceme Technology.
