Twiceme Technology, the digital safety standard for jobsites and adventures, today announced Securis, a Velotec Sports industrial head protection brand, as its latest personal protective equipment (PPE) partner. Securis will integrate Twiceme's smart safety technology into its entire product line, enhancing safety for industrial workers and streamlining organizational safety management.
Velotec Sports introduced the Securis brand in 2023 after a decade in outdoor protective headgear, and will embed Twiceme chips into the shell of its Type II safety helmets. By partnering with Twiceme, Securis will enable its users to upload work-related documents and medical information to speed certification tracking and response times in the case of an emergency. First responders can immediately access critical data by scanning the Twiceme symbol on the back of the helmets during emergencies, including personal contacts, medical conditions, and allergies.
"At Securis, we've consistently positioned ourselves as technology leaders in the head safety space," said Jeremy Howard, Co-Founder and VP of Velotec Sports and the Securis brand. "Integrating Twiceme across our entire product line demonstrates our commitment to cutting-edge innovations that enhance user safety. Through our strategic partnership with Twiceme, we're redefining the language of safety by creating comprehensive systems that connect physical protection with digital capabilities.”
At an organizational level, implementing Twiceme enables safety managers to significantly improve operational efficiency while elevating safety protocols. Using Twiceme’s Safety Management Portal, organizations can streamline daily safety management procedures, reduce incident management time, and maintain comprehensive digital safety records, all while providing users with advanced protection from Securis.
"Our partnership with Securis significantly expands our ability to serve industrial professionals who need quality head protection and reliable, easy-to-use safety management solutions," said Christian Connelly, CEO of Twiceme Technology. "We look forward to helping Securis provide more value to its customers, including a new approach to simplify and digitize daily operations while making vital information instantly accessible when seconds count.”
Securis helmets with Twiceme will be available starting in July 2025. To learn more about Securis helmets, visit https://www.securisprotect.com.
